Pet-safe Candles
Looking for candles that are safe for dogs, cats, birds, and other pets? Candles made with paraffin wax, which is a petroleum byproduct, can release harmful chemicals like toluene and benzene when burned. These can irritate a pet’s respiratory system. Our candles are paraffin-free. They’re also lead-free. Some candles use metal-core wicks, often made with lead, which can be toxic to pets if they ingest any particles. Our candles use all-natural coconut apricot wax, which is safe for both humans and animals.
SHIPPING: Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days. Once your package is with the carrier, transit time runs 1-5 business days depending on destination. You'll receive a confirmation email when your shipping label is created.
No wick trimming required. Our cotton wicks are soot-free and self-trimming, so just make sure the wick is centered and standing upright before you light.
On the first burn, let the melted wax reach the edge of the glass before blowing it out (usually about two hours). This prevents tunneling and sets the candle up to burn evenly all the way down.
Never leave a lit candle unattended. Rest the vessel on a heat-safe surface, well away from drafts and anything that might knock it over.
Stop burning once about half an inch of wax remains in the bottom of the vessel. After that, drop in a tealight and your laser-engraved glass will keep glowing on the shelf.
